Due to extreme weather possible as freezing temperatures impact Louisiana, Commissioner of Administration Jay Dardenne is announcing that state offices will remain closed Thursday, January 18, in ACADIA, ASCENSION, ASSUMPTION, EAST BATON ROUGE, EAST FELICIANA, IBERIA, IBERVILLE, JEFFERSON, LAFAYETTE, LAFOURCHE, LIVINGSTON, ORLEANS, PLAQUEMINES, POINTE COUPEE, ST. BERNARD, ST. CHARLES, ST. HELENA, ST. JAMES, ST. JOHN, ST. LANDRY, ST. MARTIN, ST. MARY, ST. TAMMANY, TANGIPAHOA, TERREBONNE, VERMILION, WASHINGTON, WEST BATON ROUGE and WEST FELICIANA parishes. State offices in all other parishes will be open.
